I was born and raised in Teesside. Mum to 3 children aged 25, 15 and 5. I worked as a civil servant for 11 years before my cancer diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia in 2016 which left me disabled. I have done voluntary work in the cancer charity sector and run a support group in Billingham. I’m looking forward to making a positive change in Teesside with Northern Cancer Voices.
