We are proud to host the Readers’ Panel on behalf of the Northern Cancer Alliance. This volunteer group plays an important role in helping NHS teams communicate clearly and kindly.
The panel brings together people with lived experience who review letters, leaflets, and other patient information, and give honest, practical feedback on how to make it easier to understand.
Their insight helps teams improve the information they share, making it more accessible, more human, and more helpful for people affected by cancer.
Managed by our dedicated volunteer, Patrick, the panel offers a trusted, independent voice, and teams across the region tell us how valuable it is to hear directly from the people they serve.
